Mothers Have Access to More Government Money Through Obama's New Scholarship Program for 2009

Despite the economic setback, the United States government has decided to issue scholarship for mothers who are willing to continue their study. Some mothers may have left out on studies probably due to early marriage and now their family may not have enough resources to live and at the same time be able to bear expenses for a mother's education.

The amount of this scholarship can be up to US $ 10,000 per annum and there does not seem to be any restriction about the college or course for which this scholarship holds. Instead, it can be availed with any institution one may desire and for any of the courses that seems interesting for the candidate. The admission process is also almost the same as any normal admission but there is an additional requirement for filling the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.

Some of the schools have also started online teaching program under this scholarship. However, the mothers are also free to choose an online degree program that is being offered by any of the institute. An online education can prove to be of greater help for mothers and specially those with very young children. And as said, the choice of opting for a course is also dependent entirely on the individual because no boundary or exception has been defined here either. So if any of the mothers were waiting for such an opportunity then they should act as early as possible so that they may have a better chance of attaining their goals which were seemingly linked with the acquisition of higher education.
